Glossary

CGH – A Computer-Generated Hologram (CGH) is a precision optical element that modifies the test-leg wavefront of an interferometer and enables surface and wavefront metrology of nearly any shape optic or optical system wavefront.

UUT – UUT is an acronym that stands for Unit Under Test. UUTs can be a single optical component, a subsystem, or a full optical system, depending on the application.

TWE – A transmitted wavefront error (TWE) map is a 2D map of the wavefront error of an optical component or system. TWE maps are typically measured in units of waves or in height units (e.g. microns).
