What is a Metrology Platform?

A metrology platform is a specialized mechanical mount offered by AOM to accurately hold a test optic and align it with respect to a CGH.

The metrology platform includes precision-located optical alignment targets registered to mounting datums on a test part.

Alignment patterns on the CGH create optical references in space, directed at these alignment targets, to define the nominal location of the metrology platform and/or test part.
