Dr. Jim Wyant, founding dean of the College of Optical Sciences at University of Arizona, pioneered the metrology applications of Computer Generated Holograms in the early 1970โs. AOM was honored to host Dr. Wyant on August 11.

AOM now offers CGH Fine Positioning Mounts (FPM) compatible with all standard CGH sizes. The FPM has 6 adjusters to align all 6 degrees of freedom (x, y, z, ฮธx, ฮธy, ฮธz ) with sub-micron resolution and ยฑ3 mm range.
